A supply chain is a network that connects an operation to its suppliers, the resources, business activities, and the technology required for the creation and sale of a product. A supply chain encompasses everything from the source through the manufacturing process to the final destination (consumer).

The aim of this session is to introduce basic concepts used to describe and/or define the function of a supply chain.
